Streaming Mode

What Streaming Mode does

• Highlights interactions on knobs, buttons, selectors, and sliders as you use them.

• Adds subtle visual cues (such as glow or ripple effects) to indicate touches and drags.

• Improves viewer comprehension during tutorials, livestreams, and recorded sessions.

These highlights are purely visual and do not change the behavior or responsiveness of the controls.

When to use it

Enable Streaming Mode when:

• You’re recording a tutorial or walkthrough.

• You’re livestreaming and want viewers to follow your inputs.

• You’re presenting Flight Deck ONE in meetings, classes, or events.

Disable it when:

• You prefer a minimal, distraction-free interface for normal operations.

• You’re optimizing for maximum visual fidelity without overlays.

How to enable or disable

1. Open Settings.

2. Go to Interface.

3. In the Advanced section, toggle “Streaming Mode” on or off.

You can switch this at any time—changes take effect immediately.

Tips for best results

• Combine with “Reduce Animations” off for more expressive highlights.

• Ensure your UI has good contrast so highlights are easy to see in your recording.

• If presenting multiple panels, consider locking your panel when appropriate to avoid accidental interactions during demonstrations.

Troubleshooting

• Highlights look too subtle: Increase screen brightness or use a higher-contrast app theme (e.g., Light/Dark as preferred).

• Visuals feel busy: Temporarily disable Streaming Mode or enable “Reduce Animations” to simplify motion.

• Recording artifacts: Check your recording tool’s frame rate and compression settings to ensure smooth highlight animations.

Privacy and performance

• Streaming Mode does not capture or transmit any data—highlights are rendered locally on your device.

• Visual effects are lightweight and designed to have minimal impact on performance during recording or streaming.
